Metal Strap Grip Tie 1-1/2 in. ZMAX Galvanized 12-Gauge PGT

Pipe Grip Ties simplify the process of securing wooden fence rails to metal fence posts. Galvanized fence posts generally have a longer lifespan than wooden posts, which helps prolong the fence's durability by preventing the frequent issue of rotting posts. You can now achieve the appearance of a wooden fence while benefiting from the strength of steel posts. The PGT is designed for typical uses as well as for corners and splices.

• Install on vertical pipes measuring 1-1/2 inches (1-7/8 inches outside diameter), adjusting corners to ensure proper rail alignment.

• Utilize 3 to 4 PGTs for each pipe; align with a stringline.

• Bend the PGT flanges in the field to accommodate corner and angled situations (bend only once).

• Constructed from 12-gauge steel.

• ZMAX galvanization provides additional corrosion resistance for outdoor and treated-wood uses.

• The PGT connects to rails using 1/4 inch x 1-1/2 inch HDG wood screws (not provided).
