Max push-to-connect fittings provide the quickest method for connecting PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipes. The newly designed stainless steel collet retainer enhances strength and durability, offering a pressure rating of 400 PSI. Max fittings eliminate the need for a PEX tube liner, and the redesigned body allows for easier pipe insertion with less force. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue, or special tools are necessary. Once the pipe is inserted, stainless steel teeth securely grip the pipe while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around it to form a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated post-installation for quick adjustments, and removing the fitting is equally swift with a disconnect tool, enabling fittings and valves to be swapped or reused easily.
