About This Product
The PVC Plug 3/4 in. Underground Use PSI-480 Male, like other PVC Schedule 40 pipe and pressure fittings, is utilized in irrigation, underground sprinkler systems, swimming pools, outdoor uses, and cold water supply lines. These fittings are very durable, exhibiting high tensile and high impact strength. They are designed for pressure applications where temperatures do not exceed 140° F. They comply with the following standards: ASTM D 1784, ASTM D 2466, NSF 14, and 61. PVC Schedule 40 has superior sound-dampening properties compared to PVC Schedule 40 DWV Foam Core and ABS Foam Core. Installation necessitates the use of primer and solvent cement.
