Centering bits facilitate easy alignment of the hole and enable precise spot drilling. The adaptable two-piece design permits users to drill with various core bit sizes using a single Carbide SDS-PLUS Masonry Core Bit Adapter (2-Piece), 3/8 in. x 13 in. The spiral core body design reduces friction in the hole and helps with dust extraction during the process. Core bits cut exclusively with the outer edge, so the operator must extract the inner core to continue drilling for holes deeper than 3 inches.
