About This Product
This Track 1-1/4 in. x 3-5/8 in. x 10 ft. 25-Gauge Galvanized Steel is roll-formed from 25-gauge galvanized steel with 1-1/4 in. legs, a 3-5/8 in. width and a 10 ft. length. It is the runner channel for a 3-5/8 in. drywall partition — fastened along the floor line and again at the head, it receives the studs and locks the wall to line. Deep knurling dimple embossing on the legs lets screws seat quickly without walking, and embossed chevrons add strength while showing the correct orientation as the track is set. Snap the layout, fasten the track to the slab or deck, then drop matching 3-5/8 in. studs in, plumb them and fasten through the legs. It is used for non-load-bearing interior partitions and furring in residential and light commercial interiors.
