About This Product
This ClarkDietrich Wall Framing Stud 2-1/2 in. x 10 ft. 25-Gauge EQ Galvanized Steel is a 25-gauge EQ galvanized steel drywall framing stud with a 2-1/2 in. web, a 1-1/4 in. flange and a 10 ft. length. The 2-1/2 in. width is the standard choice for lighter interior partitions, closet walls and chases where a full 3-5/8 in. cavity is not needed. It runs with matching 2-1/2 in. ProTRAK track as part of the ProSTUD drywall framing system, and its diamond embossed web stiffens the section to limit flange fade and screw spinout while drywall is hung. Pre-punched holes in the web let plumbing lines and electrical wiring pass straight through the wall. Studs are set in the floor and head track on layout, plumbed, then fastened to the track legs before board goes on.
