About This Product
This ClarkDietrich Wall Framing Stud 2-1/2 in. x 9 ft. 25-Gauge EQ Galvanized Steel is a 25-gauge galvanized steel drywall framing stud with a 2-1/2 in. web supplied in a 9 ft. length, sized for the 9 ft. ceiling heights common in newer residential and light commercial interiors. Running a single 9 ft. stud avoids splicing shorter studs to make height. It is part of the ProSTUD drywall framing system and seats into matching 2-1/2 in. ProTRAK track at the floor and head of the wall. The diamond embossed web stiffens the section so the flanges hold their shape and screws set without spinning out while drywall is fastened. Use it for non-load-bearing interior partitions, chases and furred walls.
