About This Product
This ClarkDietrich Wall Framing Stud 3-5/8 in. x 10 ft. 20-Gauge EQ Galvanized Steel is a 20-gauge EQ galvanized steel drywall framing stud with a 3-5/8 in. web, a 1-1/4 in. flange and a 10 ft. length — the standard 3-5/8 in. partition size run at 10 ft. ceiling height. It is the stud half of the ProSTUD drywall framing system and mates with ProTRAK track of the same width. The diamond embossed web adds stiffness to the section, which keeps the flanges from fading and reduces screw spinout as drywall is fastened. Studs are dropped into the track on layout, plumbed, and screwed or crimped to the track legs before board is hung. Use it for non-load-bearing interior partitions, chases and furring in residential remodels and light commercial interiors.
