About This Product
This ClarkDietrich Wall Framing Stud 3-5/8 in. x 10 ft. 25-Gauge EQ Galvanized Steel is a 25-gauge EQ galvanized steel drywall framing stud with a 3-5/8 in. web, a 1-1/4 in. flange and a 10 ft. length — the most common interior partition size, run at 10 ft. ceiling height. It is the stud component of the ProSTUD drywall framing system and pairs with 3-5/8 in. ProTRAK track. The diamond embossed web stiffens the section against flange fade and screw spinout, while embossed chevrons add strength and show the installer the correct orientation as studs are set. Pre-punched holes in the web let plumbing and electrical run through the wall without drilling. Studs are placed in the floor and head track on layout, plumbed and fastened to the track before board is hung.
