About This Product
The Leviton Duplex Outlet Tamper Resistant White 20 Amp (10-Pack) is a 20 amp, 125 volt tamper-resistant duplex receptacle supplied in a 10-pack for whole-house rough-in and multi-unit work. Two outlets sit in an impact-resistant thermoplastic body and face on a steel mounting strap, and an internal shutter mechanism blocks the contacts until a two-prong plug is inserted. It wires with screw terminals from the back or the side and mounts in a standard in-wall device box using the included mounting hardware. Double-wipe power contacts hold plugs tight and keep conductivity steady through the life of the device. Use it on 20 amp general-purpose circuits in homes, offices, schools and similar occupancies where the NEC calls for tamper-resistant receptacles.
