About This Product
The Leviton Outlet Duplex Tamper Resistant 20 Amp, White 1pc. is a single 20 amp, 125 volt NEMA 5-20R tamper-resistant duplex receptacle with a nylon body and face. The T-slot neutral accepts both 15 amp and 20 amp plug configurations, while an internal shutter mechanism blocks the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted. The device measures 4.25 in. high, 1.438 in. wide and 1.875 in. deep, wires from the side with screw terminals, and screws into a standard in-wall device box. Double-wipe power contacts give reliable conductivity and plug retention under repeated use. It is the right replacement device for kitchen, laundry and shop circuits rated 20 amps in both residential and commercial work.
