About This Product
The Leviton Tamper-Resistant Duplex Outlet 15 Amp White (10-Pack) is a 15 amp, 125 volt NEMA 5-15R tamper-resistant grounded duplex receptacle with the flat rectangular Decora face, supplied in a 10-pack. An internal shutter mechanism blocks access to the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted, which is what meets the 2008 NEC requirement for TR receptacles in dwellings. The polycarbonate device is 4.125 in. high, 1.375 in. wide and 1.875 in. deep, with a shallow back that leaves maximum wiring room and screw terminals that accept back or side wiring. Double-wipe power contacts keep conductivity reliable and hold plugs in place. Buy the 10-pack when trimming out a full house or a run of units with Decora wall plates.
