About This Product
Simpson Strong-Tie post bases attach the lower part of wooden posts or columns to a concrete foundation. The Post Base PBTS44Z 4x4 Lumber Standoff Post ZMAX Galvanized is engineered to ensure a strong connection between a post (or column) and concrete in applications such as decks, patio covers, and other structures supported from above. These post bases are raised 1 inch to prevent the wood post from coming into contact with standing water, which helps to reduce the risk of rot at the bottom of the post.

- The embossing in the base's seat enhances strength
- Stress relief holes located beneath the base help prevent tearing during loading
