About This Product
The Wedge Form Tie 8-in is a form tie system designed to hold concrete forms securely in position during pouring. It installs easily between form boards and ensures proper spacing and alignment for consistent wall thickness. Multiple models are available to accommodate different wall sizes and formwork requirements.
Built for low foundation wall applications, this tie features a 5/8-in wide formed “V” shape that enhances rigidity and helps maintain accurate spacing and support. It is designed for use with nominal 2x form boards and 8-in thick walls. For proper installation, two W1 wedges are required per tie (sold separately). This system is not recommended for wall pours exceeding 4 ft. in height.
Made from durable 18-gauge steel and finished with G90 galvanization, it offers improved resistance to corrosion for long-term jobsite performance.
