The Soldering Kit Lead-Free Water Soluble Flux Paste 1.7 oz. Silver Solder Wire 4 oz., like other lead-free solder kits, comes with solder wire, flux, abrasive cloth, and a brush to simplify the soldering process. The flux is a water-soluble, smooth, non-drippy paste that is easy to apply and spreads uniformly. The flux provides excellent wetting properties that help solder flow for outstanding bonding. It cleans, fluxes, and prepares copper pipes to ensure consistent solder flow. The lead-free solder wire is perfect for copper plumbing installations due to its low melting point, allowing it to flow into the joint effectively. The abrasive cloth is designed to remove oxidation from the copper surfaces before applying the flux. A brush is included in the kit for applying the flux to the pipes.
