PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 1/2 in. Push-to-Connect x 3/4 in. MHT 90° Quarter Turn Hose Bibb offers the simplest method for installing a new or replacement hose bibb. This valve is ideal for potable water and hydronic systems where a shut-off is required. Utilizing fittings provides the most straightforward way to connect copper, CPVC, or PEX pipes in any combination, eliminating the need for soldering, clamps, unions, or glue. Simply insert the pipe, and the stainless steel teeth will grip firmly, while a specially designed O-ring compresses to ensure a perfect seal. Disassembling is equally quick with the easy-to-use disconnect tool, allowing fittings and valves to be changed and reused effortlessly. Additionally, they can be rotated post-assembly for easier installation in confined areas. Fittings are certified for use in potable water supply and hydronic heating systems.
• The push-to-connect design allows for a fast and simple installation, without the need for solder, glue, unions, or tools.
• Compatible with copper, PEX, CPVC, or PE-RT pipes.
• Made from lead-free DZR brass for strength and dependability.
• The fitting can be rotated on the pipe after installation, facilitating work in tight areas.
• Specifically designed for potable water distribution.
• Resistant to corrosion to enhance durability.
• Approved by IAPMO and certified to ASSE 1061/NSF 63.
• Complies with all UPC, IPC, and cUPC standards.
• A demount clip is available for users to detach the fitting from the pipe, offering installation flexibility (sold separately).
• Rated for temperatures up to 200°F and pressures up to 200 psi.
• The insertion depth for 1/2 in. pipe is 15/16 in.
