PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
The Brass Pressure Regulating 3/4 in. Sweat PSI-200, like other hammer arrestors, addresses existing and potential water hammer issues. They utilize a piston mechanism to absorb the shock of water in the system. When a valve is suddenly closed, the water enters the pressurized chamber of the hammer, where the pressure is absorbed to prevent noise in the pipeline. As the water exits the chamber, it is released into the rest of the water line.
Key Features
- Water hammer arrestor featuring a shock-absorbing chamber
- Aids in minimizing water line noise caused by loud hammering valves
- Can be installed on either hot or cold water valves in any orientation
- Easily threads onto your washing machine supply valve and connects to your washing machine hose (valve and hose sold separately)
- The shock-absorbing chamber mitigates the banging sounds from water line vibrations
- Safeguards plumbing appliances and fixtures from the impacts of water hammer and contributes to a longer lifespan for your valves
- Can be installed horizontally, vertically, or in any angle in between
- Installation does not necessitate cutting into your drywall
- Made of copper
