About This Product
The Leviton Duplex Outlet Commercial Grade Tamper Resistant White 15 Amp 1pc. is a 15 amp, 125 volt NEMA 5-15R tamper-resistant commercial spec grade duplex receptacle. A mechanical shutter prevents access to the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted, and the body and face are high-impact thermoplastic that is ultrasonically welded for added assembly security. A staked-on self-grounding clip bonds the strap to the box and will not fall off during trim-out, while break-off plaster ears set the device flush with the wall surface. It is 4.125 in. high, 1.375 in. wide and 1.875 in. deep, wires from the side with screw terminals, and has accessible break-off tabs when split feed wiring is needed. Use it in schools, healthcare, retail and other commercial spaces that require tamper-resistant receptacles on 15 amp circuits.
