PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
The Leviton Outlet Duplex 15 Amp Commercial Grade Tamper Resistant Decora with Surge Suppressor White is a 15 amp, 125 volt commercial grade Decora duplex receptacle in white with an integral surge suppressor and a tamper-resistant face. It provides both normal and common mode surge protection — line to neutral, neutral to ground, and line to ground — so it can protect sensitive electronics at the point of use rather than only at the panel. An LED monitor light on the face shows protection status at a glance, letting maintenance staff spot a spent suppressor without pulling the device. The nylon Decora body is NEMA 5-15R with side screw terminals and coordinates with the rest of Leviton’s Decora wiring device line for multi-gang assemblies. It is used individually or as part of a coordinated surge strategy in industrial, commercial, and residential locations.
