About This Product
Polyblend Platinum Sanded Ceramic Tile Caulk - 10.5 oz (#115) from Custom Building Products is a siliconized, latex-based sanded caulk packaged in a 10.5 fl. oz. cartridge and color matched to Polyblend #115 Platinum grout. It is the correct material for the joints that move — inside corners, tub and shower perimeters, sink and countertop edges, and any point where tile meets a dissimilar surface — on joints up to 1/4 in. wide and deep. Gun a bead into a clean, dry joint, tool it flush with the surrounding grout, and allow 24 hours to dry; one cartridge covers up to 24 sq. ft. The sanded, latex-based formula offers good bond strength and durability, resists cracking, staining, moisture, and mold or mildew, and takes paint or stain. It is for indoor use only, is not intended for areas of constant water exposure, and must not be used to install grab bars.
