PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
The PVC Ball 1 in. Solvent x Solvent PSI-150 (6-Pack), like other PVC Schedule 40 Ball Valves, is compact and lightweight. This Slip x Slip valve is intended for various uses, including the distribution of cold water under pressure in irrigation, pools, spas, agriculture, commercial settings, and light industrial applications. They are packaged in a convenient, resealable, and reusable plastic jar containing 12 valves. These ball valves are certified and feature EPDM seats and O-rings within a robust PVC body.
Key Features
- Constructed from PVC schedule 40 for enhanced durability
- Full port design promotes optimal efficiency while minimizing turbulence and pressure loss
- Quarter-turn flow control enables simple on/off operation
- Certified to standard 372
- Slip connections comply with ASTM D2468
- Operating temperature range: 41°F to 122°F (5°C to 55°C)
- Maximum pressure rating of 150 psi at 73°F (22°C)
- Installation requires solvent cement (not included)
- Important note - as temperature rises, working pressure decreases; the ideal working pressure for PVC valves is 150 psi at 73°F (22°C). If the temperature exceeds 73°F (22°C), use the PVC correction factor to determine the working pressure by multiplying the maximum working pressure by the correction factor. Refer to the correction factor grid on the attached specification sheet.
