PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
This is a 3M Sanding Sponge 100/180-Grit 4-7/8 in. x 2-7/8 in. measuring 4-7/8 in. x 2-7/8 in. x 1 in., with 100-grit medium abrasive on one face and 180-grit fine abrasive on the other. The aluminum oxide mineral is bonded to a durable flexible foam block, so the sponge follows contours and molding profiles that a rigid block would skip over. Run the 100-grit side first to cut the surface down, then flip to the 180-grit side to smooth it before finishing. It can be used wet or dry on drywall, wood, paint, metal and plastic, and rinsed out for reuse.
