About This Product
This 3M Pro Grade Precision Sanding Sponge 220-Grit 4-1/2 in. x 2-1/2 in. x 1 in. Extra Fine measures 4-1/2 in. x 2-1/2 in. x 1 in. and carries 220-grit extra fine aluminum oxide abrasive on a foam core. Extra fine is the last grade before finish: use it to polish out sanding scratches left by coarser sponges, smooth the final skim of joint compound, and scuff primer or paint between coats so the next coat bonds. The premium mineral is built for a faster cut than standard sponges, and the clog-resistant abrasive can be used wet or dry. Sold 2 sponges per pack.
