About This Product
3M Sandpaper Sheets 1000-Grit 9 in. x 3-2/3 in. (10-Pack) comes as pre-cut 9 in. x 3-2/3 in. sheets, 10 sheets to a pack. The silicon carbide abrasive is a sharp synthetic mineral that cuts fast and smooth, bonded to a waterproof paper backing that stands up to wet work. Sanding wet with water or cutting oil carries the residue away, keeps the sheet from clogging and extends its useful life — the usual method for final and between-coat sanding on lacquers, primers, sealers, paints and plastics. Use it by hand or wrapped around a sanding block on flat areas where you want a polished, defect-free surface before the next coat.
