About This Product
This Leviton Toggle Switch 20 Amp Commercial Double-Pole White is rated 20 A at 120/277 V and is designed for 240-volt equipment, breaking both hot legs of the circuit in one throw. Because it is rated for both 15 A and heavier 20 A loads, it drops into either circuit size without derating, and it handles motor loads as well as lighting. The molded nylon body and maintained toggle are built for heavily used areas — homes, offices, schools and commercial buildings — where a residential-grade device would wear out. It mounts in-wall on a standard single-gang strap and takes a standard toggle wall plate, which is not included. Compatible lamp types include CFL, halogen, incandescent and LED.
