Suitable for nominal 4x joists, it has a seat width of 3-1/2 inches and a seat height of 2-13/16 inches. Made from 16-gauge steel and galvanized (G90) for extra corrosion resistance, it should be installed with 10d x 1-1/2 in., 16d x 2-1/2 in., or 16d common nails.
