The CCQ is crafted to ensure robust column-beam connections in wooden structures. The seat of the column cap offers extra bearing surface area that extends beyond each side of the column. This extended bearing surface aids in distributing the load from the beam and supports the connection. The CCQ employs Heavy-Duty Connector screws for quick installation and to connect to a larger net section area of the column than typical bolt attachments.
