About This Product
The Simpson Strong-Tie HUC Heavy-Duty Concealed-Flange Joist Hanger is designed for structural applications requiring additional strength while maintaining clean, finished lines. Its concealed header flanges make the hanger particularly well suited for exposed framing where appearance is important.
Designed for nominal 6x12 joists, the HUC can be used for wood-to-wood connections as well as installations involving masonry or concrete. The hanger is manufactured from heavy-duty 14-gauge steel with a G90 galvanized finish for corrosion resistance. Optional triangle holes allow additional fasteners to be installed where increased load capacity is required.
