About This Product
Utilize the Copper Coupling 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. Lead Free PSI-300 (10-Pack) to create reliable extensions and repairs for ASTM B88 and B75 copper tubing. These couplings are designed with an internal stop indentation to halt the pipe halfway through the fitting upon insertion. Their straightforward press connections make the installation of these couplings both fast and efficient. Unlike conventional pipe fittings, there is no requirement for calibration, flame, or heavy machinery. Instead, the installation of these couplings involves just three simple steps: cut the copper tube to the desired length and eliminate any burrs or flaws, measure and mark the depth for fitting, and employ a press tool to secure the coupling for a robust connection. The technology detects unpressed fittings during pressure tests to ensure correct connections on the first attempt, reducing the need for callbacks. Approved by the majority of codes and standards, including IPC, UPC, and NSF, and offering over 400 different fitting configurations to accommodate nearly any plumbing or HVAC task, these pipe fittings are the preferred choice of professionals worldwide.
