About This Product
The Leviton Duplex Tamper-Resistant Outlets White 15 Amp with 6 Amp USB Dual Type-C Power Delivery In-Wall Chargers is a 15 amp, 125 volt tamper-resistant duplex receptacle in white with two integrated Type-C USB Power Delivery charging ports. A single port will deliver up to 30 watts to a PD-enabled device, or up to 15 watts per port when both are in use, with maximum outputs of 5V/3A, 9V/3A, and 15V/2A. A smart chip optimizes the charge for each connected device, overcurrent protection limits the power delivered, and an internal thermoregulator keeps the electronics from overheating. The NEMA 5-15R polycarbonate body wires back or side on screw terminals, but note that both new construction and retrofit installs need an extra-deep 20 cu. in. box or a box extender, and a Decora or Decora Plus screwless wall plate is sold separately. There is no data transfer capability — the ports are for charging only.
