PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Armorlite Type MC Quick Pre-cut Length Whips are designed for branch, feeder, and service power distribution in commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-family residences. They are also suitable for power, lighting, control, and signal circuits. The conductors are composed of soft drawn solid copper and are bundled together with a binder tape that has the print legend wrapped around the assembly.
• Approved for both concealed and exposed installations
• Allowed for use in environmental air-handling spaces according to NEC
• Lightweight aluminum interlocked armor rated for 600 volts
• Solid copper THHN/THWN insulated single conductors with a green insulated copper grounding wire
• Cut-to-length type MC cable featuring factory-installed zinc-die cast snap-in fittings
• 8-inch conductor leads with 1/2 inch of insulation stripped
• Color-coded packaging and labels for identifying voltage and the number of conductors
