Kraft-faced Formaldehyde-free™ fiberglass insulation is available in various R-values, making it perfect for managing moisture in exterior walls while offering outstanding temperature and noise control. Our R-38 Kraft faced insulation is free from formaldehyde and is shielded on one side with moisture-resistant kraft facing. R38 kraft faced batts are pre-cut to 48 inches in length for easy installation in 24-inch on-center 2 x 12 attics and ceilings. One bag covers an area of 72 square feet. Kraft-faced batts are suitable for new construction, renovations, walls, floors, ceilings, basements, attics, and crawlspaces, and can be used with either wood or steel stud framing. The insulation is constructed from bonded glass fibers that maintain their shape and will not slump, settle, or degrade under normal conditions.
