PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
The DEWALT Skimming Blade Extension Handle and Adapter Set (model DXTT-2-945) is a medium-length extension handle with quick-release adapter that connects to DEWALT aluminum-body skimming blades and compound rollers. It gives the reach and control needed to skim high walls and ceilings from the floor, so the finisher works off the deck instead of a bench or stilts. The handle is built from fiberglass, aluminum and high impact ABS composite — light in the hands but rigid enough that blade pressure transfers to the wall rather than flexing out of the pole. The quick-release adapter lets you swap between handle lengths on the fly without losing rigidity, and a rubber grip at the bottom cuts hand fatigue over a long day of finishing.
