The National Electric Code now mandates both Combination Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection for all 1-Pole, 15 Amp, and 20 Amp kitchen and laundry circuits. Before this new device was available, contractors or homeowners had to use a Combination Arc Fault circuit breaker along with a costly, bulky Ground Fault receptacle. The new Dual Function circuit breakers help lower costs and eliminate the inconvenience of using two separate devices for this crucial protection. It's beneficial for both contractors and homeowners. It features time saver Diagnostics, a unique function that offers additional circuit information and reduces troubleshooting with the press of a button.
