PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 20 Amp Single Pole Ground Fault Circuit Breaker with Self-Test features a tin-plated copper stab that ensures a dependable, lasting, and corrosion-resistant connection. It serves as an alternative to GFCI wall outlets, allowing users to easily locate the electrical panel when a circuit trips. The Self-Test feature is a UL requirement for all GFCI devices starting from June 2015. This version of the GFCI automatically conducts diagnostic tests regularly to verify that its ground circuitry is operating correctly. If an issue is found, the circuit breaker will trip and will need to be replaced.
• The unit offers protection against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults.
• It quickly detects very low levels of electrical current leakage (ground faults) and shuts off power to prevent severe shock.
• Class A 5mA ground fault circuit interrupter.
• Wire range accommodates #14-8 AWG CU/#12-8 AWG AL.
• UL listed under number E51075.
