About This Product
The Brass Pressure Regulating 1/2 in. Sweat PSI-60, like other Quiet pipes hammer arrestors, assists in addressing both existing and potential water hammer issues. Quiet pipes features a piston mechanism designed to absorb shock from water within the system. When a valve is suddenly closed, the water rushes into the pressurized chamber of the arrestor, where the pressure is mitigated to prevent noise within the pipes. As the water exits the chamber, it is distributed to the rest of the plumbing line.
