About This Product
Securely join copper tubes using the Bronze 90-Degree Connector 1/2 in. Press PSI-300. This fitting is specifically designed for ASTM B88 and B75 copper tubing, allowing for connections to walls that provide a stable mounting point. The press connections facilitate a quick and efficient installation of this drop ear elbow. Unlike conventional pipe fittings, there is no requirement for calibration, flames, or heavy machinery. Instead, the installation of drop ear elbows can be completed in just four simple steps: cut the copper tube to the desired length, eliminate any burrs and surface flaws, measure and mark the depth for fitting insertion, and utilize a press tool to secure the drop ear elbow for a firm connection. The technology detects any unpressed connections during pressure testing, ensuring that connections are made correctly on the first attempt and reducing the likelihood of callbacks. This system is approved under the most codes and standards compared to any other press fitting system (including IPC, UPC, and NSF), and with over 400 different fitting configurations available to accommodate nearly any plumbing or HVAC project, drop ear elbows are favored by professionals worldwide.
