PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
Connect pipes to fixtures or link different types of pipes using the ProPress Bronze Coupling 1/2 in. Female Press PSI-300. This adapter is crafted for use with ASTM B88 and B75 copper tubing and features connections on both ends: a 1/2-inch press connection and a 1/2-inch female pipe thread connection. The press connection end allows for quick and efficient installation of this fitting. Unlike conventional pipe fittings, there is no requirement for calibration, flame, or heavy machinery. Instead, installing adapters involves just three straightforward steps: cut the copper tube to the desired length and eliminate any burrs or imperfections, measure and mark the depth for fitting, and utilize a press tool to secure the adapter for a reliable connection. Smart Connect technology detects unpressed fittings during pressure tests, ensuring proper connections on the first attempt and reducing the need for callbacks. This system meets more codes and standards than any other copper press fitting system (including IPC, UPC, and NSF), and offers over 400 different fitting configurations suitable for nearly any plumbing or HVAC project, making pipe fittings the preferred choice for professionals worldwide.
