Circuit Breaker 20 Amp 1-Pole Q-Line Dual Function Arc Fault/GFCI

The 2014 NEC requires Ground Fault and Arc Fault circuit protection on numerous 15 Amp and 20 Amp kitchen and laundry circuits. GFCI protection helps prevent electrical shocks by guarding against ground faults. GFCI circuit breakers achieve this by detecting when current is "leaking" outside its intended path. If your body becomes the path to ground for this "leakage," you could be burned, shocked, or even electrocuted. CAFCI protection helps prevent damage or fires caused by arcing and sparking from deteriorated wires, poor connections, and breaches in wire insulation. • The unit's last known trip condition can be cleared by following a series of steps outlined in the instructions.

• Includes a self-test feature that complies with a June 2015 UL requirement for all ground fault circuit breakers.

• Must be used with a dedicated neutral and cannot be used with a shared neutral.
