PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The 30 Amp Double Pole Ground Fault Circuit Breaker with Self-Test features a tin-plated copper stab that establishes a dependable, long-lasting, and corrosion-resistant connection. The Self-Test capability is mandated by UL for all GFCI devices starting in June 2015. This version of the GFCI verifies that its ground circuitry is operating correctly by automatically conducting diagnostic tests at regular intervals. If an issue is identified, the circuit breaker will trip and will need to be replaced.
• The unit offers protection against overloads, short circuits, and ground faults.
• It detects very low levels of electrical current leakage (ground faults) and quickly shuts off power, helping to prevent serious shock.
• Class A 5mA ground fault circuit interrupter.
• Wire range is #14-8 AWG CU/#12-8 AWG AL.
