About This Product
This Leviton Double Pole Switch 30 Amp Industrial White is rated 30 A at 120/277 V and is built to break both hot legs of a 240-volt circuit at once. Double-pole switching is what heavy equipment needs: pumps, motors, heaters, compressors and similar loads are fully disconnected rather than left with one leg live. The body is molded nylon designed to take abuse and resist impact and cracking in shop, plant and utility-room service. It accepts back and side wiring, so conductors can be landed whichever way suits the box, and it mounts with standard strap screws in a single-gang opening. Wall plate is not included and is chosen to match the toggle opening.
