PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
This Leviton Duplex Outlet 2-Wire White 15 Amp is a 15 Amp, 125-Volt non-grounding device in a NEMA 1-15R, 2-pole, 2-wire configuration with a white polycarbonate face. It is the correct replacement outlet for older two-wire circuits that have no equipment grounding conductor, where installing a three-prong grounding receptacle would be misleading and non-compliant. The straight blade device is side wired at screw terminals and carries a steel strap with plaster ears for flush alignment against the finished wall. It measures 4.125 in. high by 1.375 in. wide by 1.875 in. deep and fits any standard single-gang box. Keep a few on the truck for service calls in older homes and light commercial buildings.
