PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
About This Product
The Leviton Duplex Outlet Tamper-Resistant White 15 Amp (10-Pack) is a 15 amp, 125 volt NEMA 5-15R tamper-resistant grounded duplex receptacle with a standard round-hole face, supplied in a 10-pack for volume rough-in. A shutter mechanism inside the receptacle blocks access to the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted, so hairpins, keys and similar objects are locked out. The polycarbonate device measures 4.125 in. high, 1.375 in. wide and 1.875 in. deep, and its shallow back leaves maximum wiring room in the box. Quick wire and side wire options speed installation when you are setting a house full of devices. It carries the TR symbol required by the 2008 NEC for residential receptacles and takes standard duplex wall plates.
