The 1-Gang 18 cu. in. Non-Metallic Ceiling Box is intended for use with non-metallic sheathed cable, following article 314 of the NEC. Ideal for both residential and light commercial settings, this box is constructed from Polycarbonate, approved for masonry walls, and compatible with 90°C conductors. It conforms to NEMA OS-2 standards and is UL listed and fire rated for safety.
• Suitable for fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Not designed for ceiling fan installation - not rated for fans
• Thermoplastic material is resistant to rust and does not conduct electricity
• Integrated cable clamps secure wires in position
• Includes captive nails
