About This Product
This Leviton GFCI Outlet Tamper Resistant SmarTest Self-Test SmartlockPro Light Almond 15 Amp 125-Volt Duplex is a single 15 Amp, 125-Volt tamper-resistant duplex receptacle in a light almond polycarbonate housing. Auto-monitoring runs an internal test on a periodic cycle to confirm the device can still respond to a ground fault, and the unit checks itself within 3 seconds of initial power-up, so protection does not depend on anyone remembering to press the test button. If a potential problem is found it adapts and tests more often, and the status indicator light gives simple feedback on power and protection status. The reduced-depth body helps it fit into shallow electrical boxes, and terminals are back and side wire capable for flexible wiring. Install it at kitchen counters, bathrooms, laundry areas, garages, and other locations that require GFCI protection.
