About This Product
Custom Building Products Gray Economical Non-Modified Thinset Mortar (50 lb) is a 50 lb. bag of cement-based dry-set powder used to bond ceramic, porcelain, stone, cement and concrete tile over properly prepared concrete floors. It is mixed with water on the jobsite and combed out with a notched trowel to bed tile at a thin bond thickness. One bag covers up to 90 sq. ft. depending on trowel notch, tile format and jobsite conditions, and the installation is left about 24 hours before grouting. Where higher bond strength is required, the powder can be gauged with Thin-Set Admix Concentrate in place of water. It is an economical, high-volume mortar for interior and exterior floor and wall tile in bathrooms, kitchens, backsplashes and countertops.
