About This Product
Custom Building Products Gray Rapid Setting Fortified Thinset Mortar (25 lb) is a gray fortified rapid-setting thin-set mortar supplied as a 25 lb. bag of powder that is mixed with water on the job. It is made for time-critical installations and tile repairs where the area has to go back into service quickly: joints can be grouted in 2 hours and the floor takes traffic in 6 hours. Comb it out with a notched trowel over most common substrates, then set ceramic, porcelain, glass, stone or cement tile into the fresh mortar and beat it in. The cured mortar is moisture resistant and waterproof, so it is rated for interior and exterior work including bathrooms, backsplashes and exterior walls, and one bag covers up to 50 sq. ft.
