About This Product
Custom Building Products Natural Gray Grout Mix - 50 lb (#09) is a pre-blended mixture of Portland cement, silica sand and pigments supplied in a 50 lb. bag, model SLG0950. It is formulated for the wide joints found under terra-cotta, Saltillo and quarry tile, filling from 1/2 in. up to 1-1/4 in. wide, and the factory blend removes the guesswork of proportioning cement and sand on site. Mix 4 qt. of clean water into each 50 lb. bag, let it slake, and pack the joints with a float or grout bag. For increased strength, thin-set mortar admix can be substituted for half of the water requirement. It also works with other semi-vitreous and non-vitreous tile, brick and stone veneer, indoors or out.
