The Gator Edge Protect Sanding Sponge 220-Grit 5 in. x 3 in. x 1 in. Single Angle is a 5 in. x 3 in. x 1 in. hand block loaded with 220-grit aluminum oxide abrasive. The angled profile lets you run inside corners and edges, while the Edge Protect design keeps the abrasive off the adjacent surface so you do not scuff the wall or trim next to the work. The flexible foam body follows irregular shapes and edges, making it useful for drywall, fiberglass, metal and wood. At 220 grit it is a finishing grade for smoothing patched compound and scuffing surfaces before paint.
