About This Product
The 3M Pro Grade Precision Sanding Sponge 80-Grit 4-1/2 in. x 2-1/2 in. x 1 in. 3-in-1 in 80-grit coarse is a 4-1/2 in. x 2-1/2 in. x 1 in. block built on coarse cell foam. One face is molded with a hexagonal dust-channeling pattern that pulls debris away from the work so the abrasive keeps biting; the other face is flat for level sanding, giving three usable sanding profiles in a single block. The coarse 80 grit is aimed at the first pass — knocking down high spots, ridges and trowel marks in dried joint compound before you step up to a finer grit. Run it wet or dry, rinse it out and put it back to work.
